Export a plant's notebook as a spreadsheet file to archive, print, analyze or share offline.
Exporting a notebook
- Open the plant's profile page.
- Click Export in the notebook toolbar.
- Choose Spreadsheet (CSV) or Excel (XLSX).
The resulting file contains one row for each logged day, formatted with standard columns: Date, Plant, Strain, Zone, Activities, Measurements and Note. Excel exports freeze the top header row for smooth scrolling and include interactive column filter toggles.
Several plants at once
Toggle the notebook view to All plants, select your target group using the top filter menu (a specific tent zone, all active plants or your complete grow archive) and click Export. The generated spreadsheet consolidates logs across all selected plants, allowing easy sorting and filtering by plant name or cultivar.
Tip: An export spreadsheet is designed for offline reading and analysis; it cannot be imported back into BudMinder to restore a database. To safeguard your records, use the backup tool.
