General
Click Settings in the top navigation menu to open system configuration. Settings are organized into dedicated sections in the left sidebar: General, Integrations, Grow setup, Appearance, Cameras, Backup & data and Logs. Use the top search bar to find any setting quickly by keyword. Every preference saves automatically in the background as you adjust it, so there is no need for a manual save button.
Region & display
- Timezone: select your local timezone so timestamps and schedules align accurately regardless of where your server is hosted. Choose Use system default to match the host server's local time.
- Measurement units: toggle between Imperial (inches, feet, ounces) and Metric (centimeters, meters, grams). These units apply to cultivar height, yield tracking and sensor temperature readings. Existing values recorded in the alternate unit system convert automatically for display.
- Language: choose English, German, Spanish or French. This preference applies only to your active browser session, matching the globe dropdown in the top header.
- Theme: select Auto, Light or Dark for your active browser. Auto synchronizes the interface with your operating system's light or dark mode setting.
Guest view
Enable Enable Guest Access to let visitors browse your plants, strain library, photo galleries and smoke reports without credentials. Guests have read-only access and cannot alter data or configuration. BudMinder requires a server restart for this toggle to take effect. See Finding your way.
